Seamus O’Muineachain is a 24 year old composer from the West of
Ireland. He has been writing short pieces for the piano ever since his
teenage years but only began recording and releasing his compositions
when he found himself with free studio time. Since putting out his
first EP he has received a considerable amount of Irish national radio
play on the popular RTE show ‘An Taobh Tuathail’ as well as on 2FM and
2XM.

In July of 2011 he was listed by The Irish Times as one of the top ten
Galway based musicians. He has been compared to Brian Eno by Hot Press
magazine and has performed at the renowned Feile Iorrias International
Folk Arts Festival as well as sharing the stage with the seminal folk
group Yawning Chasm and the Cork based noise group Mersk.

On this the artists self titled debut album he creates a unique piano
soundtrack. You can imagine many of these pieces up on the big screen
alongside the most heart wrenching scenes in a love story. Open your
heart and let the music wash over you.
